Privacy policy

Worryless (“we”) is operated by Carvajal Group LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use joinworryless.com, Worryless Finance and the Worryless plugin for ChatGPT, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

  • Your financial transactions live in your own Google Sheet. We don't store them on our servers.
  • We keep only what's needed to run the service: your email, your settings, and what's needed to reach the one sheet we create for you.
  • We never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising.

What we collect

  • Waitlist: your email address, the language of the page and, if present, the campaign that brought you (for example, a TikTok video).
  • Account: your email address, a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) and the settings you choose, like your name, language and currency.
  • Purchases: a record of your purchase (product, status and payment references). Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
  • Google: an encrypted access token and the ID of the spreadsheet we create for you. We never see your password.
  • ChatGPT: when you connect the plugin, a record that the connection exists and when it was last used.

What we don't collect

  • The amounts, merchants, categories or notes you log. They go from ChatGPT straight to your sheet; our servers pass them through without keeping them.
  • The rest of your Google Drive. We use Google's “drive.file” permission, which only lets us open files our app created.
  • Your ChatGPT conversations.

Google user data

  • We use Google data only to create your Worryless sheet and to read and write that sheet when you ask, for example when you log an expense in ChatGPT.
  • Worryless's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • You can remove our access anytime from your Google Account (Security → Third-party connections). Your sheet stays in your Drive.

Who helps us run the service

  • Supabase (database, sign-in and hosting of our server), Vercel (website hosting), Google (your sheet), OpenAI (ChatGPT, which you use under its own terms) and our payment provider. They process data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist emails: until launch, or until you ask us to remove yours.
  • Account data: while your account exists. When you delete it, we delete your account, settings and Google token. Purchase records may be kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

  • Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by writing to the address below.
  • Unsubscribe from any email with the link in it.
  • Disconnect Google from your Google Account and ChatGPT from ChatGPT's settings at any time.
  • Worryless is for people 18 and older.
